About the Role
Trumax Contracting is actively hiring for a ROOF FOREMAN APPRENTICE! This is an entry-level position - we seek individuals who are looking for work and willing to undergo training. This position requires little to no experience; Trumax will provide paid in-house and onsite training. Everything will be hands-on; individuals will learn basic roofing installations. What does this position entail? Our roofing foremen are on active job sites from start to finish. The role of our roofing foremen is to install and repair roofs on commercial and industrial properties. They are always under the supervision of a Mechanic or Superintendent. Our foremen work closely with our crews, ensuring that each job is installed with the best quality and integrity.
Job Type: Full-time. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements
Ensure all job site tools and materials have been collected at the shop before the job start.
Ensure proper safety equipment is installed on each project before work commences.
Ensure the crew follows proper safety protocols.
Communicate with PM about inspections.
Communicate with PM about any material or tools specific to the job.
Communicate with the crew about the current schedule daily.
Mange start time breaks, lunch, and quit times for current crew each day.
Set daily and weekly production goals for the crew.
Take responsibility for quality control on each work site.
Take responsibility for any poor quality on the roof.
Take responsibility for ensuring the roof is watertight at the end of each day.
